Cat Stories
More great submissions from the crazy cats at D.O.’s house.
The black cat was Goodwrench, a cat that showed up at our shop the day after Dale Earnhardt Sr. died.
You already know Dusty and Ivan, I just thought it was cute.
The white cat on the stairs was my cat as a child, who lived to be an old man, I think about 16 or 17. He was born at our house around the time our other family pet, Spooky– our dog of 15 years– passed away. We werent going to keep him, but he was the only kitten who lived out of 5, then his mother abandoned him at 3 weeks so we got to keep him after all. We named him Bear.
Thanks for the submissions, D.O.! Miss you girl.

Crazy Kitties Submissions!
Another great submission from D.O. and family. Thank you for the great pics!
I have a million of these I could send you. The 2 cats together are Shaggy and Ivan (runaways that ranaway in Michigan).
The cat in the dish drainer was boots, R.I.P., our first cat.
And of course Dusty, the cat who went AWOL somewhere in Tennessee.
Too cute. Thanks!

Mama Bear - Sacked Out
Mama is by far our shiest and quietest kitty. She’s the only girl cat in the house, so she tends to always be on the defensive.
But when Mama sleeps, she SLEEPS, and she’s vulnerable and so cute.
Here she is, just a pile of cute kitty. Mama actually snores when she sleeps– we’re trying to catch some video of it because it’s hilarious.
Mama got propped up against the pillow to do her sleeping Spock impression. Guess she’s a closet Trekkie.
Check out other cats sleeping here, and feel free to share your sleeping cat photos!

Back from Vacation with Crazy Kitty Pics!
The hubby and I went on an island vacation with a couple of friends this weekend, so I officially took a few days off from all the crazy kitties. As you might imagine, we came home to a few . . . surprises on the floor here and there. The cats are happy to have us back, though, and they’re enjoying the Florida sunshine out on the patio.
While we were away, we got some really funny submissions to share.
Here’s Princess kickin’ it in the kitchen cabinet. She’s certainly not subtle about wanting something to munch on.
One of Princess’ “issues” is low self esteem– sometimes, she just feels bad about herself . . . she really feels like “trash” sometimes.
Adorable photos!
