Where Have We Been?!?

Okay, I admit that I have severely slacked on keeping up lately. I’ll let the kitties fill you in.

Yes everyone, I’m over four months pregnant . . . with twins. So I’ve been a little bit distracted. I’ll try to keep up better! I guess this gives a whole new dimension to my category of “extended family.”

In Loving Memory - Mocha

Mocha in the sink

We are extremely sad to tell that Mocha, this beautiful kitty in our extended family, has passed away. She wandered away from the house and went missing for a couple of days. Although the story is sad, she was found by her owners (my in-laws) and they were able to say goodbye.

Monique, Mocha’s mom, says:

Mocha was a very loving cat and was entertaining in her own way. It is almost like she had a sense of humour. She would be lying on the bar stool and look asleep…but if you walked by, she would swat at you with her paw. I could go on and on at the funny stuff she did, all the weird places she would climb into, etc…maybe all cats are like that. But to me, she was unlike any other cat I ever had.

Mocha will be missed and loved forever.

In Loving Memory

Angel left us peacefully on the evening of Monday, October 23. In her final moments, she was surrounded by the people who loved her most.

Angel was with us for 19 beautiful years. She experienced it all with us– the growing pains, the passing of family members, the move across the country. She spent 19 wonderful years comforting us and giving us all the joy and happiness we could ever ask for. She led a life of diginity and love– and passed in the same way.

It pains me that I will never see her again. But I know she’s still always here with us, and she’ll visit us in our dreams and memories.

In Loving Memory of Angel

To my baby Angel– you are loved, honored, and remembered forever and ever.
